The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) is an exciting and rewarding place to work. The employment positions within the ADCNR are quite varied in content and responsibility, and offer many rewarding career opportunities through its six divisions: Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries, Marine Police, Marine Resources, State Lands, State Parks, and Administrative.
The Department’s major goal is to promote the statewide stewardship and enjoyment of the natural resources of Alabama and to ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy these resources.
ADCNR career options include, but are not limited to:
Internships for college students are possible in some areas, such as law enforcement, accounting, wildlife biology, fisheries biology, and as legislative liaisons.
