The certified Smith Lake record largemouth is 11-pounds (see below); the certified Smith Lake record spotted bass is 8-pounds, 15-ounces. We also have an angler recognition program for other sport fish.

This October striped bass was caught from Smith Lake with the help of guide Bill Vines.

David Lockhart shows off a 2007 eleven pound largemouth bass from Smith Lake on June 3, 2007. This current Smith Lake record largemouth bass was caught the night of June 3 on a shakey head jig and finessse worm. He gave special thanks to his net man, Heath Smith. David also earned a Trophy Angler Certificate.

Caught in April of 2007, the first official lake record largemouth bass for Smith Lake weighed 10-pounds, 4 ounces, and it is the first record of the new lake record program.
