Project WET

Project WET is water education for teachers.  Hands-on activities and teaching ideas are included in the curriculum guide for kindergarten through grade 12.  Project WET teaches about water resources and uses water resource ideas to teach a range of subjects.  Project WET lists activities by activity name, topic, subject area, time required, grade level, setting, teaching method, and assessment strategy.

In Alabama, Project WET is a free six-hour workshop that gives educators tools to teach about water resources.  Upon completion of the workshop, participants receive a 516-page curriculum and activity guide at no charge.  Alabama can provide the Project WET to groups of twenty or more educators at your location.  If you or your smaller group would like to attend a free workhop and receive a Project WET guide, we can tell you where the nearest workshop is being held.
