Wheeler tailwater produced some fine smallmouth bass drifting bait when the turbines are running in late October of 2010.

For Pickwick Lake, this is a little smallmouth bass.  Smallmouth bass shorter than 14" must be returned to Pickwick Lake unharmed.

Mike Brill landed this seven-pound, six-ounce smallmouth bass on March 31, 2009.  It was 23-inches long and 17-inches in girth.  He was fishing with guide Steve Hacker on Pickwick Lake.
