Certified Master Angler Catches

Alabama Certified Master Angler Catches for Striped Bass

Certified Master Anglers have had their catch of a striped bass 25 pounds or larger or 38 inches or longer certified by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division. (Photographs required of the fish next to a ruler and with the angler, see rules.) Trophy Anglers have had their catch certified for striped bass 35 pounds or larger or 42 inches or longer.


Richard C. Hill was using a bream for bait when he caught this 28-pound, 7-ounce striped bass above Lake Martin on April 17, 2010.  He earned a Master Angler Certificate for his skill.

Stephen McCord caught this 26 pound striped bass from Lake Eufaula on June 17, 2008.  Mr. McCord received a Master Angler Certificate for his catch.
