Alabama Certified Master Anglers for Redear Sunfish (Shellcracker)

Certified Master Anglers have had their catch of a redear sunfish (shellcracker) 1 pound or larger or 11 inches or longer certified by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division. (Photographs required of the fish next to a ruler and with the angler, see rules.) Certified Trophy Anglers have had their catch of a redear sunfish (shellcracker) 2 pounds or larger or 13 inches or longer certified by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division.
