Alabama Certified Master Anglers for Blue Catfish

Certified Master Anglers have had their catch of a blue catfish 50 pounds or larger or 46 inches or longer certified by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division. (Photographs required of the fish next to a ruler and with the angler, see rules.) Certified Trophy Anglers have had their catch of a blue catfish 70 pounds or larger or 51 inches or longer certified by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division.

On October 19, 2009, Brent Miller caught this 64.9-pound blue catfish from Lake Wheeler, and this earned him the Master Angler Certificate.
