Alabama Certified Trophy Anglers of Blue Catfish

Certified Trophy Anglers have had their catch of a blue catfish 70 pounds or larger or 51 inches or longer certified by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division. (Photographs required of the fish next to a ruler and with the angler, see rules.) Certified Master Anglers have had their catch of a blue catfish 50 pounds or larger or 46 inches or longer certified by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division.

On October 23, 2009, Kevin Lade caught this 65-pound blue catfish bank fishing on Redstone Arsenal on Wheeler Lake.This catch earned him a Trophy Angler Certificate.
