Alabama Certified Master and Trophy Anglers for Flathead Catfish

Certified Trophy Anglers have had their caught of a flathead catfish fifty pounds or larger certified by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division.  A Certified Master Angler program will document flathead catfish thirty pounds or larger.

Matthew Burmeister caught this 52-pound flathead catfish in Talladega Creek on November 18, 2009. This catch earned him a Trophy Angler Certificate.
