4.9 pound, 21 inch largemouth bass caught while conducting the spring electrofishing survey.	Big bluegill (8.5 inch) are what Lamar County Lake is known for.
A nice largemouth bass. A good mess of black crappie caught and released while electrofishing.	3 year classes of black crappie indicate that good crappie fishing will continue.


	Lamar County Lake has a fishing pier that may be easily used from a wheelchair.
The concession building is well stocked with fishing tackle.
