Catfish Caught at Lee County Lake

Catfish may be the most popular fish at Lee County Lake. The reason might be that you can catch a mess of frying sized catfish or you can successfully hunt and land a huge whopper cat.

Three types of catfish roam Lee County Lake waters. Channel catfish provide the bulk of the fishery. An occasional bullhead is caught. Lee County Lake also boasts a hybrid catfish, which is a cross between the channel and the blue catfish. Rumors are this hybrid will reach 70 pounds. Will you be the one to land it?

Channel catfish over 25 pounds or 37 inches may qualify for a Trophy Angler Certificate.
