 Other Small Public LakesSmall lakes can be excellent places to fish. Alabama has several lakes in addition to those run by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division. Most of these smaller lakes may be found on the region pages for Birmingham and by District: District I (northwest), District II (northeast), District III (west central), District IV (southeast), and District V (southwest).
