Powdered Fertilizer

Powdered fertilizer is highly concentrated and very soluble in water; therefore, smaller quantities are needed.  Application is accomplished by simply broadcasting from shore or trickling the recommended rate from a boat.  Because the material is so soluble and quickly consumed by the plankton, more frequent applications may have to be made to maintain a desired color.
