Scientific Name: Marsilea spp.
 

Distinguishing Characteristics:
Delicate plant resembling 4-leaf clover.
2 growth forms: can grow erect on long, think stalk; or can grow in slightly deeper water with leaves floating on surface. Usually found in moist soil or very shallow water.
