Baby's Tears

Scientific Name: Micranthemum umbrosum
 
Distinguishing Characteristics:
•Delicate plant (forb) with opposite leaves that are less than ½-inch in diameter and nearly perfectly round. 
•Tiny white flowers may be seen clustered base of leaf near stem.
•Can grow along shoreline or form dense clumps reaching out from shoreline.
