Scientific Name: Scirpus pungens

Distinguishing Characteristics:
•Leaves are reduced to bladeless sheaths that are triangular in cross-section.
•Seedhead: cluster of 3 to 7 spikelets; spikelets have hairy scales.
•Moist soil to shallow water.
