Scientific Name: Myriophyllum heterophyllum 

Distinguishing Characteristics:
•2 leaf forms; subsurface leaves are very fine and feathery like M. spicatum; surface leaves are short leaves tightly whorled around the erect tip of the stem.
•Stem often dark red.
•Growth habit similar to M. spicatum.
