Spiny-leaf Naiad

Scientific Name: Najas minor

Distinguishing Characteristics:

•Branching stem with thin, rough leaves that curl downward. Leaves resemble Charabranchlets; however there are many more branchlets appearing like a plume rather than distinct whorls.

•No noticeable odor.

•Growth habit characteristic of naiads.
