Opelika City Lake (Saugahatchee Lake) is a 600-acre lake is stocked with all types of freshwater fish. Fishing and boat permits are required and may be obtained at Opelika City Hall. Hours are Tuesday to Sunday from sunrise to sunset. For more information, contact 705-5500.
