Several types of wooden boats were made in Mobile and Baldwin counties and are still used today.
The Mobile Delta is known for largemouth bass fishing, but it is a great area for catching bluegill, redear sunfish, redspotted sunfish, redfish (red drum, channel bass or spots), alligator gar, bowfin, specked trout, crappie and mullet.
