Fish and Fishing in Inland Lake

Inland Lake is a deep 1,557 acre impoundment in Blount County. The 2008 fish management report indicates anglers should harvest the abundant small spotted bass so that the other bass will grow more quickly. Striped bass have been stocked in Inland Lake.  Due to public concern, stocking of striped bass will be suspended for two years to see if that results in a positive effect on the black bass population.
