First Day's Weigh-in at Lanark

On the first day, the top team had over 15 pounds for the seven fish limit, over a two pound average.

The event was hosted by the City of Millbrook at the Alabama Wildlife Federation's Lanark facility.

The event had a good crowd looking to see some of the good crappie at Jones Bluff Reservoir.

A release boat returned fish to the Alabama River.

Bass Pro Shops was one of the sponsors, and a store is located across Interstate 65 from Lanark.
