The certified Smith Lake record largemouth is 11-pounds (see below); the certified Smith Lake record spotted bass is 8-pounds, 15-ounces. We are still looking to certify lake record smallmouth bass (5-pound minimum). We also have an angler recognition program for other sport fish.

This 37-pound striped bass was caught on a May trip with Stripe Fishing Headquarters while using live bait.	Mrs. Simpson caught this 40-pound striped bass while using live bait during an April fishing trip with Stripe Fishing Headquarters.
Ronnie Davis caught this 31-pound striped bass on a topwater lure during a March fishing trip with Stripe Fishing Headquarters.	This 38-pound striped bass was caught on a February trip with Stripe Fishing Headquarters while using live bait.

Mike caught a 32-pound striped bass with the help of Rock Creek Striper, November 17, 2010. What could be better than that? He caught him on Redfin.
Samuel Stewart caught this 11.75 lbs longnose gar on Smith Lake on August 18, 2008. Some of Dale Welch's clients show their catch from Smith Lake in 2000.	This October striped bass was caught from Smith Lake with the help of guide Bill Vines.

David Lockhart shows off a 2007 eleven pound largemouth bass from Smith Lake on June 3, 2007. This current Smith Lake record largemouth bass was caught the night of June 3 on a shakey head jig and finessse worm. He gave special thanks to his net man, Heath Smith. David also earned a Trophy Angler Certificate.

Caught in April of 2007, the first official lake record largemouth bass for Smith Lake weighed 10-pounds, 4 ounces, and it is the first record of the new lake record program.
