SCIENTIFIC NAME: Icterus spurius

STATUS: Breeder. Common in spring, summer, and early fall in all regions, and occasional in winter in Mountain and Gulf Coast regions. Low Conservation Concern.

HABITAT: In breeding season, found in open areas, with scattered trees, especially near water.
