August 23, 1pm-2pm; Hiking Destinations in Alabama with Joe Cuhaj
September 13, 1pm-2pm; Day Hiking Essentials with Joe Cuhaj: The easiest way to get into hiking and backpacking is with a simple day hike, but even that requires some planning. We’ll teach you how to get started in this free workshop from 1pm to 2pm.
September 27, 12pm-2pm; Alligator Safety with kayaker Mike Bosarge: Apprehensive about paddling because you might run across some of the more toothy Delta residents? Be prepared, and know the do's and do not's of alligator safety.
October 11, 1pm-3pm; Backpacking 101 with Joe Cuhaj: Ever wanted to try backpacking but thought it would cost too much, takes a lot of fancy equipment, or just don’t know where to start or go? Then this FREE 2-hour workshop is for you!
October 25 1pm-2pm; Storytelling Time with Renee Duval: Renee will read, "How Gimble Gopher Tortoise Found a New Home" by Kay Thorpe Bannon. Great for kids 3-12!
November 15, 1pm-2pm; Leave No Trace with Skip Essman: Pack in and pack out - minimize your impact when you're spending time enjoying the outdoors.
