Wildlife Gardener—Learn how to plan and grow an exciting backyard wildlife garden that will attract hummingbirds, butterflies, birds, and even some bigger critters- if you want them. Water gardens, plants, feeders, and other ideas will be presented to help you develop a nurturing habitat for your wildlife neighbors as well as for your senses. At the same time, you will be using a tool, The Junior Master Gardener curriculum, that can be used with children to give them a hands-on education in wildlife gardening. This workshop maybe especially interesting for teachers and others who like to work with youth.

Backyard Wildlife—If you want to make your backyard a haven for wild creatures, don’t miss this class. Learn the habitat needs, plant selection and other limiting factors.

Bird Watching—A must for beginning birders. Learn the basics of bird identification, field guide and equipment selection. Bring your binoculars for the field session!

Reading the Woods—The woods are full of “signs” that reveal fascinating facts about the wildlife inhabiting them. Hike the forests and fields as wildlife specialists and skilled outdoorsmen share secrets for recognizing and interpreting “signs.”
