Although the colors look threatening, this Alabama snake is not venomous, and he was only looking to enjoy a hot dog.

Some nice bluegill were caught from the Upper Pond at Lanark.

Some bream were even taken on lures.

The catfish catching was a little slow today.

Before fishing, students learned that the recent rise in catfish feed prices have hurt the Alabama catfish industry. Competition with imports is another devastating blow to the Alabama catfish industry.
