Sport Fish Restoration

A student shows that rain washes pollution into streams.	Rain is good, but the pollution we let it wash into the stream is bad.
Ms. Morrison shows some ways to keep pollution from washing into the water; grass is planted between loose dirt and streams.
The mill dam was used to power a grinding wheel, but the dam keeps fish from going upstream.	Ms. Morrison talks about fish and dams.


Students patiently learned that groundwater became surface water at springs.	Students walked in Tannehill Historical State Park.
Parents and teachers experienced the cool waters of the spring.	It was cold and felt good on a hot day.
Students looked forward to playing in the water after lunch.
