Auburn University Teams Up with Outdoor Life and Field and Stream

Auburn University was listed as one of the top ten universities for outdoor education and recreation - Outdoor U.  To celebrate on September 26, 2007, Outdoor Life magazine and Auburn University brought in representatives of various departments within the College of Agriculture and School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences; Auburn alum Ray Scott Jr., the godfather of modern-day bass fishing and founder of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society and the Whitetail Institute of North America; and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Outdoor U, an event that will focus on all things outdoors, careers included. Auburn University students and area high school students enjoyed a career day and Outdoor U.
