Lee Elementary School Enjoys Creek Kids at Tannehill, May 21, 2010

Sport Fish Restoration

Mrs. Morrison teaches the students with a PowerPoint and then the concepts are reinforced in Tannehill State Park.

The PowerPoint presentation is interactive.

An EnviroScape is used to help the students understand a watershed before the watershed is see from the train.

Students learn about groundwater and springs.

Runoff from heavy rains turns the creek brown. This is not natural.

Sierra Club is a sponsor of Creek Kids.
The Sierra Club is a partner in our Creek Kids program.

Thanks for the great fun!
