Outdoor Family Adventures

The Outdoor Family Adventures of South Alabama is all about hands-on activities in nature.	The pier at Village Point Park in Daphne is a great place to fish with kids.
Fishing in an estuary, one is likely to have crabs stealing bait.	Fishing is a great way to enjoy the outdoors.
the fishing class was timed to see the monarch butterflies as they migrated.	The blue claw crab has some orange on their claws also.
	Catching a croaker is just part of the fun.
Bait stealing crabs are part of the excitement.	Everyone wins when a fish is caught.
Mr. Doug brought out the seine to see what was in the shallow water.	Usually each crab is caught twice.

Children of all ages enjoy looking at animals up close.	Participants help with the seining.

Small shrimp are an extremely important piece of the ecosystem of Mobile Bay.	The participants also helped with cleaning the seine.
A fingerling speckled trout was caught while seining.	Memories are created outdoors.
