Legacy Elementary School in Madison County uses their students' natural interest in the outdoors and their third-acre pond for multidiscipline learning.

Legacy Elementary School Fifth Grade students fished again in 2012 with rods and reels provided by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division.
