Montgomery Academy
First graders from Montgomery Academy fished at the Alabama Wildlife Federation pond at Lanark in Millbrook. Special thanks to the Alabama Wildlife Federation and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, especially Mr. Doyle Keasle. This DCNR Web site has fishing tips and information about bluegill, green sunfish and channel catfish.
All the Montgomery Academy first graders were able to catch a fish a Lanark during March of 2007.
This Montgomery Academy first grader was successful in catching a green sunfish during 2006.
