Recipients of grants from American Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD), Future Fisherman Foundation (3F) and the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) were trained at the Alabama 4-H Center in July of 2004. Fishing and boating are part of a healthy lifestyle, and this training helped physical education instructors throughout the nation to develop model programs.
For 2005 grants, see the news release. For more information about sport fishing training in Alabama, contact Doug Darr. Also see the Future Fisherman Foundation's Web page on the workshop.
