Instructors for fishing included Doug Darr, Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division, and Mark Stephens, Project Fish in Michigan.

Participants received some fishing tackle from Gander Mountain stores.

Students listen to instructions for the next game.

One way to learn about fish populations, the importance of habitat, and the benefits of fishing to the population is through the Go Fish! adaptation of the Project WILD game Oh Deer!

For fish, the main habitat needs are clean water, food and shelter.
