Creek Kids is just that!

Kids enjoy learning about grounds water in a "feets on" manner.

Preserved fish are available so that students may see what fish live in the stream.

Kids are into cell phones and communication, but they need to know about the natural environment and how they can keep the water they drink clean.

Invertebrates are put in special viewers.

Mr. Jackson explains about the effect of exotic aquatic species on the other species in Alabama.

Students can match invertebrate specimens with keys.

Mr. Jackson and an Albert Turner student try to collect some fish with a seine.

Students look for aquatic invertebrates, such as snails.

Mr. Jackson helps a student look at his invertebrate.

The Alabama hog sucker
is one of the students' favorite fish. It is only found in the Mobile basin of Alabama and nearby states.

Conductor Morrison brings in the students.

Thanks for the great fun learning!
