Fishing at Lanark

Did you catch your first fish at the "Walk in the Forest?" The Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division offers a first fish certificate.

Mr. Jimmy Harris shows students how to safely use a cane pole. Lanark's pond has great open bank space for fishing.	First graders found that bluegill like hot dogs.
	Students worked in teams of two.
Students learned a little patience.	A little pier makes fishing easier.



Pieces of hot dog were used for bait.
