Trailblazer Adventure - Fishing at Camp Tukabatchee April 2, 2011

All Cub Scouts that heard the fishing introduction and fished are eligible for the "Take Me Fishing Passport Patch," which may be obtained through your scout leader.  If you caught your first fish, which many did, you may have your scout leader get a "First Fish Patch" also. The Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division has a PDF My First Fish Certificate you may fill out and print yourself.

Fishing Belt Loops and Fishing Sports Pins may also be earned by Cub Scouts.

Not only were cub scouts able to catch fish, but the families could participate too.	This cub scout caught a bluegill, which are common in Alabama ponds.

Trailblazer Fishing 2011

Big largemouth bass were caught during the 2011 Trailblazer.	Smiles were had by all.
A small bluegill gives this scout something to do while waiting for the big one.	Here is the big one.  And a largemouth bass is caught too.

The Adventure Scouts and Boy Scouts that helped with fishing made the event a success.
I really appreciate Anthony sticking with us the whole day!
