Hacking Tower

This is the hacking tower, which is about 30 feet tall. The process of "hacking" involves introducing the juvenile eagle to the wild. The eagle was placed in a cage on top of the tower and fed daily. After several weeks the cage will be opened. It is hoped that the eagle will eventually fly from the tower and hunt its own food. If the hacking operation is successful, the eagle will return to the same geographical area to nest.
