Secondary Students Experiential Science
The experiential education program at Weeks Bay NERR provides advanced secondary students the opportunity to participate in field and laboratory exercises under the tutelage of reserve staff and visiting researchers. Students are encouraged to develop and execute an original investigation that incorporates recognized scientific methodologies and analysis of data. The successful completion of an original investigation not only familiarizes students with authentic scientific research but also improves analytical and critical thinking skills.
