THE LAUDERDALE WMA –SHAW HOLLOW AND PEA RIDGE TRACT ADDITIONS in Lauderdale County are a mix of pine and hardwood forest habitats. This 327 acre acquisition serves as a public land addition to the Lauderdale Wildlife Management Area, which had been experiencing recent declines in acreage until Forever Wild=s Southern Timber Venture purchase in 2001 (see purchase # 20, #58, #66).
