MSP-FLAT ROCK ADDITION in Madison County consists of 8.8 acres of mountainous upland hardwood forest land on the Northern edge of Huntsville. The tract adjoins parcels owned by the City of Huntsville and was nominated in conjunction with the Land Trust of Huntsville and North Alabama. The tract hosts the Mountain Mist Trail which winds its way around Monte Sano Mountain. The tract is being managed as an addition to Monte Sano State Park.
