Sipsey Complex

 Location:  Tuscaloosa County

Acreage:  3,431

The Sipsey Complex is made up of three different tracts totaing 3,431 acres. It is located in Tuscaloosa County and consists of bottomland hardwood forest and swamp lands along the flood plains of the Sipsey River. Tract #28 is bisected by old Highway 82 on the north end  of the property and provides the public with a new point of road and river access to these state lands. 

The management objective of this complex is habitat conservation, outdoor recreation, scientific research and education.
