THE MOBILE-TENSAW DELTA-MIFFLIN LAKE TRACT ADDITION in Baldwin County consists of 561 acres of wetlands dominated by flood prone hardwood timber adjoining previously purchased land along the Tensaw River and Mifflin Lake (see purchase # 15 & 44). A $1,000,000 grant from the North American Wetlands Conservation Program supported this purchase of unique habitats essential for avian conservation, as well as several rare species of plants and animals.
