Approval of the
2017 ALABAMA COASTAL AREA MANAGEMENT PROGRAM IV DOCUMENT
as a Routine Program Change
by the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, Office for Coastal Management
Pursuant to 15 C.F.R. § 923. 84(b), the Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (ADCNR) submitted to the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office for Coastal Management (OCM), the 2017 Alabama Coastal Area Management Program (ACAMP) IV document and requested concurrence by OCM that the action constitute a Routine Program Change (RPC) in accordance with 15 C.F.R. § 923.84.
This public notice is to inform interested parties that NOAA/OCM concurs with ADCNR’s request that changes described in the Alabama Coastal Area Management Program IV document constitute a routine program change pursuant to Coastal Zone Management Act regulations at 15 C.F.R. part 923, subpart H, and NOAA/OCM’s Program Change Guidance (July 1996) and approves the incorporation of the document as non-enforceable policies of the Alabama Coastal Area Management Program effective January 25, 2017. These changes do not include or affect the enforceable policies of the coastal program in Alabama and do not apply for purposes of Federal Consistency.
