We were experiencing technical difficulties with the 2017 Alligator Limited Quota Hunt registration website. The issues have been resolved and the website is now re-opened for registration. Registration will continue until 8:00AM CDT on July 11, 2017.
If you attempted to register, please log in to https://publichunts.dcnr.alabama.gov/public and verify your 2017 hunt registration is listed. If your 2017 hunt registration is NOT listed you will need to re-register.
If your registration is listed and you did not receive a receipt or confirmation number, please send an email to email@example.com with the subject line: Alligator Hunt Registration Confirmation. In the email please include your full name and the following statement: I completed my Alligator Hunt Registration online and did not receive a receipt or confirmation number and would like to request a copy of both.

Alligator Hunting Season
Only residents and Lifetime License holders of the State of Alabama who are sixteen (16) years of age or older may apply for an Alligator Possession Tag (see License Requirements). Non-residents may only participate as alligator hunting assistants (see License Requirements). All persons in the boat must have a hunting license.
Hunters will be allowed to register only one time per zone. Cost to apply per zone is $22. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted. Application fees are not refundable.
You must have a valid Conservation ID and email address to receive confirmation of your application.
You must attend the Alligator Hunt Training class prior to the hunt.
