Grouse, Turkeys and QuailGrouse and Ruffed Grouse Bonasa umbellus. Breeder. Occasional to rare and very local in northeast corner of state. Found in deciduous and mixed woodlands. MODERATE CONSERVATION CONCERN. Wild Quail - Family Odontophoridae Northern Bobwhite Colinus virginianus. Breeder. Common to fairly common in all seasons and regions.
