Terrestrial Snails

Alabama has a number of terrestrial snail species in addition to the many aquatic snails.  A list has been drafted of snails thought to be in Alabama.  Scientists at the University of Alabama are studying this interesting group.

Licensing/Certificates

Hunting and Fishing licenses are required for Alabama residents 16 to 64 years of age. Nonresidents 16 years of age and older are required to have a license.

Hunter education is required for all hunting license buyers born on or after August 1, 1977.
