Increase your exposure and gain confidence in conducting a pre-scribed fire in your woodlands. Attendees will experience a day long “start to finish” prescribed burn. Each person will be as-signed to a burn crew managed by an Alabama Certified Burn Manager. Participants will have all day access to observe, ask questions and experience igniting and hold a burn line in a variety of fuels, terrains and stand conditions.

Requirements:
This event is a live fire demonstration. Participants will participate for the duration of the burn and sign a hold-harmless liability disclosure/waiver on the day of the event. Participants must expect to be active all day walking, wearing proper attire, and using hand tools.
