Exceptional Angler Event
The event begins with a safety talk to the volunteers given by Jerry Moss, Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division.

The event cannot be done without great volunteers.  THANK YOU.

Who is more proud of their accomplishment?

Who is having the most fun?

Catching  a catfish; what a great accomplishment.

Fish are interesting creatures.

Television stations follow the event.

Students are interviewed.

Some catfish are kept.

Program sponsors built these fishing piers for the event.

Looks like we made a new angler.

Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division employees provide support for the many volunteers.

Oak Mountain State Park has a great facility for fishing.

A big thank you to ALL our volunteers.

University of Alabama football fans were happy to see one of their great players volunteer his time, #26 Bobby Humphrey.

Sometimes bait is the most interesting part of the day.

Happy, Happy, Happy

Youth like hands on learning!

Conservation Enforcement Officers know how to help kids catch.

Thanks for the great fun fishing!
